Favourite UK Events

Okay so hear me out…. This was tough. I’ve selected my favourite event across spring, summer, autumn and winter. Whether it’s sport, culture, music or food and drink, the UK is one of the hottest destinations for epic events!

SIX NATIONS -

SPRING

The Six Nations signals the true start of spring for sports fans. As England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France and Italy battle it out on the rugby pitch, the atmosphere is electric—full of national pride, historic rivalries and unforgettable moments. It’s a time when pubs fill up, fans unite, and weekends revolve around the next big clash. A trip to Twickenham with a Guinness in hand to watch England is truly special. Not a sports fan? You will be after this!

TOP TIP - Arrive early and enjoy the fan zone ahead of the game. They usually have lots of music, drinks and food events going on. Being a part of the build up is a huge part of the experience!

GLASTONBURY - SUMMER

Wimbledon was almost my choice… HOWEVER, summer wouldn’t be complete without Glastonbury, the UK’s legendary music festival (if you can even get a ticket!). Set in the rolling fields of Somerset, it’s a vibrant mix of world-class performances, creative arts and that unmistakable festival spirit! Whether you're dancing in the sunshine or embracing the muddy magic, Glastonbury is an unforgettable celebration of music and culture.

TOP TIP - Have your friends and family set up laptops and phones ready for the ticket launch!

FUME FESTIVAL - AUTUMN

Autumn brings cosy flavours and creative cooking, perfectly showcased at the brand new Fume Food Festival. This event celebrates smoky, fire-kissed dishes from talented chefs and independent food producers. With warming aromas, seasonal ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the ideal way to enjoy the richness of autumn. However, they have minimal vegetarian options: sorry, not sorry!

TOP TIP - Starve yourself before you come, it’ll be worth it!

WORLD DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP - WINTER

Winter nights are made for the PDC World Darts Championship. Taking place at the iconic Alexandra Palace, it delivers high-energy crowds, dramatic matches and plenty of festive fun. With colourful costumes, catchy chants and nail-biting finishes, it’s a standout event that brings sports fans together during the holiday season. It is truly bonkers!

TOP TIP - Sign up to become a PDCTV Annual Member as public tickets rarely get released due to increasing popularity! Members can buy up to 6 tickets, so liaise with friends.
